Clinton-Hampton Lodge #347
The present charter of Hampton Lodge was granted July 13, 1854, and was given the number 347, to be located in Westmoreland, New York. The first recorded meeting was held in the village of Lowell on September 7, 1854.
On January 25, 1861, a motion was made and carried that the Worshipful Master appoints a committee to investigate the possibility of securing a meeting room in the village of Hampton.
The next record of a communication is of one held in Mason’s Hall, Hampton, on October 10, 1863.
From the last mentioned date, we have the records of the Lodge complete to the present time.
