Duties
The Board of Assessment Review hears assessment grievances on the fourth Tuesday in May. This date is set by the New York State Real Property Services. The Town of Westmoreland Board of Assessment Review consists of a Chairman and two members. The Sole Assessor for the Town does not sit on this Board, but does answer questions from the BAR about grievances.
